Located right next to a nature conservancy and a 260-acre stocked lake, Highlands Ridge is a nice community for those who want an active senior lifestyle in a nice, well kept area of similarly nice homes. It features 36 holes of championship golf amongst the rolling hills and majestic oak trees found in the area. This is a VERY nice development with a LOT of amenities.

Highlands Ridge can be cheaper than some other similar looking options because some homes are of a modular style and many more are stucco over frame construction. While this is not as desirable as stucco over block in Florida, it is still good - potential buyers just need to make sure the home was well taken care of. Stucco over frame in Florida is fine if homeowners maintain their homes and keep up with a good termite prevention program (which is no big deal!).

In the newer areas, they are building larger, more fancy stucco over block homes.

We've been in many homes in all three areas and found them to be nice, clean and well maintained. However, we sometimes feel that homeowners over price their homes (especially in the older sections) so buyers should be careful - there is almost always a wide range of prices for comparable homes. That is where we can help - we can look at everything available and compare prices/quality so you can see the best of the best). We generally don't list in the area, but we've assisted many buyers get the best home at the best price.

Most homes are priced in the high 200s and 300s.
